[Mishmash] Bill Smyth in Hospital

Hi, Folks,

    Thought you'd want to know that our friend Bill Smyth is in the
hospital.  It appears he had a stroke.

    I spoke to him on the phone.  He can speak quite well but says he has
limited use of his left hand.

    He woke up with tingling in his left hand and couldn't feel his fingers.
He was resisitive to going to the hospital, but his wife demanded it and
took him to the emergency room to have a look at him.  At the emergency
room, they admitted him to the hospital without delay.

    He said that they may let him go home today.
