[Mishmash] Economic Slavery on the Highways

Dick,
I think you have good advice there.
He was a buddy from my high school band in Alabama. I never knew he
could be like that until it happened. I don't know what happened to him.
It was a real disappointment as our band was 'all for one and one for all'
type of people. You've never experienced a band like this one unless you
were in it or experienced it regularly. I think you saw the video of those
trophies. There were plenty of band trophies among them. You couldn't
understand it fully without knowing these people. But maybe you can get the
general idea.
But I've been discussing this on a mailing list that he is on (along
with other band members from our era). So now he's a captive audience. He
can't speak up without making himself look bad. And while some of the
others on that list don't share my opinion, they do consider what I have to
say. And that I don't have any problem with. They can express opposing
views. Being able to listen to a different point of view is a dynamic that
is required with friends that are worth having, IMHO.
Regards,
Fred
