 i've done this several times.  gotten quite a few bills with that message
before all the new ones came out.  fun, but i haven't checked back at that
site in a long time.  thanks for reminding me - i'll see if any of my bills
have been reported.

    Several weeks ago, something interesting happened to me.  I got a dollar
bill in change from our local diner.
 
    The bill was stamped in red ink with the URL:
http://www.wheresgeorge.com and 'Track this bill' on it.
 
    Out of curiousity, I went to the Web site.  It is a money tracking site.
You create an account, put the number of the bill (and certain other
information) along with where you are when you entered the bill.
 
    Then you spend the bill again and when someone gets it and enters it
into the 'Where's George' Website, you get an email telling you where it
shows up.
 
    The one I got was first entered into the Where's George Website eleven
days before in Palatine, Indiana and I got it in Sylva, NC.
 
    For our Australian counterparts, I just discovered an Australian money
tracking Website at http://www.moneytracker.com.au.  When I come back to
Australia again to drive across the continent like I've always wanted to,
I'll probably play with this one a bit.
 
    Check it out.  It looks like a little bit of fun.
