[Mishmash] Saddam's Verdict at Hand

    They are battening down the hatches in Baghdad.  The airport has been
closed and curfews are being imposed.

    The verdict that holds Saddam's life in the balance is at hand.
Innocent or guilty, it is sure to set off a full armament of actions both by
those who are angry and those who are happy.

    In a culture where the average person can own an automatic assault
weapon, it could be very serious.  Even in the event of celebration, they
will send gunfire into the open air.  It is not uncommon for people to get
injured by gunfire during celebrations such as this.

    The effect it will have upon U.S. troops will be significant.  All
leaves were canceled and everyone is standing by for the chaos that will
most certainly erupt when the announcement is made.

    Pray for our troops.
