[Mishmash] Steve Irwin Tragically Dies

Hi Ingrid and Robyn,

I have been around but have been very busy. My wife's Dad in Poland is 88
and has required a lot of intervention and this has been a bit distracting.
I have been keeping an eye on proceedings though.

I have never been a Steve Irwin fan. I acknowledge that he has done a lot
for conservation and was used extensively by our quarantine service but he
did lots of very silly things. The incident with Bob and the crocodile
immediately comes to mind but there were others such as when he went too
close to protected animals in the Antarctic. IMHO he was an accident
waiting to happen. Of course I feel sympathy for his family and their loss
but little for him.

Sorry for being hard hearted.

Cheers

David
