[Mishmash] Steve Irwin Tragically Dies

Hi Ingrid,
I was honestly appalled at the idea of a State funeral. I could not think
of anything less appropriate. Firstly because he was a clown but secondly
because it was not consistent with his persona. He portrayed himself as an
ordinary Aussie bloke. Blokes don’t have State funerals.
The latest I heard was that his father did not want it but the final
decision is with his wife.
