We use Skype all the time to speak to friends and relos in Europe. It is
free and you can use video. Our contacts are not hams so radio is not an
option for us.

David,
I only use Messenger. And I try to avoid anything else other than ham
radio related services such as Echolink and CQ100 (you have to be a licensed
radio amateur to use either of these).
Regards,
Fred

Subject: [Mishmash] Videoconference
I just wanted to let you folks know that I finally got my
videoconference worked out. It turned out that I had the wrong audio driver
installed. Once I put the right one in, I was up and running.
I use MSN Messenger for videoconference. I use 'fatkinson at mishmash.com'
as my address for it.
If some of you are so equipped, you can try to videoconference with me
once in a while. I always leave my computer running so it will say I am
online even when I am not home, just to let you know.
Well, I have an appointment I have to leave for shortly so I won't be
able to do it this morning. But try me some other time.
Regards,
Fred
