One of my on-going problems with the legal/illegal alien thing is that it is 
a black and white issue people try to make misty.

Its real simple . . . either someone is here in a legal fashion, or they are 
not. As we have defined non-citizens as requiring documentation, anyone who 
is not a citizen should be required to get that documentation. If that means 
a child, then his or her parents should be required to do so.

And nobody should be allowed to stay for extended periods of time without 
it.

Maybe if we handled the whole thing as the black and white issue it really 
is, we wouldn't have the moaning and groaning we seem to love going through. 
Remember the Malvo guy who shot up people in the DC area a few years ago? He 
was a non-registered alien. Our wonderful employees in the government were 
processing a series of hearings . . . about what???? If someone is standing 
inside the country and does not belong inside the country, they a simply put 
breaking a law. Walkint them to the nearest exit sooms the only logical next 
step.
