Hi Susan,

It is difficult not to stereotype a group when unrational actions occur, but
based on your first paragraph below, which resembles my point, I still
think that there are some of them that fear those that do irrational acts. To me
it's a little like saying, Saddam was wicked so all the people of his
country are wicked, Bin Laden was wicked so all people of his nationality are
wicked, OJ was wicked so all the people of his ethnic group are wicked. David
Koresch was wicked so all of the people of his faith were wicked.

I think due to the constant fear of terrorism, here and abroad, that Muslims
and people from other known countries where terrorism has occurred who come
into the country should be scrutinized carefully to see why they are here
because of the possibility of ties to others who invoke terrorism, but that
doesn't mean to me that they are all guilty of the plotting of terrorism, or that
they all agree with it. IMO

>the koran doesn't teach love and good will to others - it teaches death
to non-muslims and anyone who won't convert to islam. I don't know
whether it orignally focused on Christians and Jews but it certainly
does now.

>I don't believe that the muslims in our countries who are keeping quiet
do so out of fear of retailiation by the extremists - I believe they do
it out fear of letting non-muslims in Canada, the U.S., Australia, etc.,
know they agree with the terrorists tactics and are just biding their
time until they can turn our countries in muslim states.

Susan
