Sometimes they are remembered for a one way ticket to the Darwin Awards.
I sometimes ponder on how they make a living and practice that junk all the time. My conservative side I guess.
Still snowing here in NY, too but not like the 12 inches we got a couple of weeks ago and temps are better. It seems like it snows every day here lately but not a great amount. Last night about 3 inches.
Keep the lights on.

Some people feel a need to be remembered for SOMETHING, even if it's something totally useless.
So, if they can't be the first man on the man, or the first to decode the human genome, or the
first to develop the theory of relativity, they become the first to do 40 squat thrusts a minute
on the back of an elephant, or run a mile with a pool cue on their finger. I guess to them it's
the same thing.
I rejoined this list to read conversation, everybody must have left and forgot to tell me.
The lights are still on, so I guess everybody is hiding. Maybe come spring they'll come out of
hibernation. We got snow again yesterday, though only 3-5 inches depending where you are in the
DC area. Beats the ice storm they predicted, and the ice storm we actually had last week. Just
got a note from a friend up in the Boston area who says they're getting a bit of snow, which is
expected to bring the total to maybe six inches this season. This in Massacnussets, where they're
supposed to have real winters. It's GLOBAL WARMING!!!! :-)
