[Mishmash] Malware Removal Tool

The best one I've found is the freebee that comes with the yahoo toolbar . . . finds things the others miss.

Also, one of the wonderful features of the microsoft tool is that it defines malware as things MS doesn't like, and thaks some the usual MS actions without asking first.

      I'm told that if you have kids using your computer downloading games and other malicious things, it will find a lot of things.  

      My brother's fiance has a teenage daughter who is constantly downloading music and games from the Internet.  Every time I go down there I am asked if I can work on her computer.  I run Adaware and Spybot and clean enormous amounts of Spywares and Malwares from her computer.

           i've been using this for a few months.   have no idea if it works or not cause it's never found anything on my puter - but i feel better using it.

              I've just come into information that Microsoft is offering a Malware removal tool on their Website.  It is running on my computer as I write this.  

              You can download it by going to: http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx  

              It didn't find any malicious programs on my computer.  But you never know.  

              Check it out and let me know what you find.
