[Mishmash] Vegemite

My Australian friend Ross (who died in 2005) used to send me bottles of vegemite - I miss him and I mis my Vegemite supply - I like it on toast but very thinly as it has a strong flavor.  He told me that during the war (WWII), only children and the Au. armed forces could get the stuff.  Apparently it is full of vitamins &  very healthy - or considered so.  STores here sell Marmite which I think is similar (I've never bought it) but I've yet to find Vegemite locally.
