Kids don't know how to have fun these days - they prefer to cuddle up to a computer.  Another trick my brother and I did with those poor cows was try to ride them.  there was a huge rock in the middle of the field (well, it was huge when we were small) - we'd take turns - one would herd the cow to the rock and the other would jump on!  My poor dad - the cows didn't want to give milk and the chickens didn't want to lay eggs (brother Myles and I were crawling into the coop through the run entry and we'd catch them - at some point we figured we were catching the same chickens twice so we'd tie them up to keep track - I'm laughing so hard as I remember this - as I said, my poor dad...!)
