Hi Carole,
It's nice to talk to you again.
I moved to New York to be closer to my family. I do work here too, but
didn't move for that reason.
I'm learning to live with the snow also, it took some getting used to having
it on the ground for so long at a time. In the South if we get any snow it
comes and goes, and we didn't get a lot of it. Sometimes it was a couple of
years before we got a good one. There, a good one was classified as about 2
or 3 inches. <g>
I think they keep the roads cleared of snow fast here though and for that
I'm grateful. I get a little tired of it before spring, probably more so than
those who lived here most of their life, and that is because I am used to
seeing the ground through the winter and being able to walk on ground without
snow during the winter. My little dog is not too keen on it, but I am
adjusting though, and I like this area.
Have a good day,
Linda
hi linda - glad to see you again. this is carole - have been here all the
time. we're prolly a lot more quiet than when you were with us before -
quess we're getting older and busier. i retired at the end of the year so i have
a little more time now - prolly goin to remedy that eventually but right now
i'm enjoying the phone not ringing and the lack of hassle in my life. why
did you move to NY? work or just a change of scenery? i don't like the snow
either but have to live with it - this year we've been living with more ice
than snow - but it's way worse in other regions out west so not complaining
(much).
