I  disappear for a few weeks and have so much to read when I get back.  And a 
 couple old friends return as well.  Hello to Susan and LInda.  I will  make 
a sorry excuse to a response to some of the topics up for conversation a  
little later.  Just popped in to say  hello.
 
HUGH!!!  If you're out there!  I got my first taste of New York  City a 
couple of weeks ago.  My twin sister moved to the upper east side of  Manhatten 18 
months ago and then moved to Roosevelt Island last summer.  I  finally made it 
there for a long weekend.  It was all I'd hoped for and  hope to get back 
there when I can spend a little more time walking around and  taking in the 
sights.  My weekend there was on a tourist visa.  The  most valuable lesson I learn 
was take the $15 cab ride from Roosevelt Island and  NOT the $35 Limo ride.  
If I can make it there again in the somewhat near  future maybe we can meet 
for dinner  again.
 
Freezing  here in Michigan.  Glad to be back.  More  later
