Perhaps you are right Gale but Tony Blair has been going for a long time.
If I recall the date was know several months ago. Plenty of time to allow
for planing a car bomb or two.
I am glad my son and his wife leave London today and arrive in Krakow
tonight.
Cheers
David

The British people have elected a new PM who it seems is very cool on the

here. This would seem to be something that would work against what the
terrorists are trying to attain wouldn't it? Or was it simply a bombing of
convenience?

News reports I've read indicate that some major British cities have large
Muslim populations and a few mosques that are reputed to be hotbeds of
radicalism as well as recruiting centers for Jihad. The recent and
not-so-recent terrorist activities there could be the result of these
factors more than the politics of the new British PM. Chances are they
started to plan these actions long before Tony Blair left office and are
only now getting around to it.
