Ok, I'll bite:

* I care about your weather . . .we just add two days and five degrees, and it is our weather to come.

* Nobody names children after toys (scooter), lamps (tiffany), or other items. My advice as always been "don't picture a cute baby with the name, picture a 55 year old with a real need for botox.

* The same advice holds true for tatoos . . . imagine that cool tatoo on your 83 year old great aunt's leg

* Barry Bonds is steroids defined. I'm one of those who thinks you can't compare today's game to "real baseball" . . . you know, the game that had 154 games, 16 teams, pitchers who didn't fall dead at 100 throws, and players who worked at it for more than two years.

* Always remember, if baseball were like it was when Mantle, Rizzuto, Mays, and other played, half the people we call "major leaguers" would be playing in triple A (because there were fewer teams).

    Been so quiet here lately, even by my standards.   So I'll ramble.  Maybe something will stick.

  1. How 'bout this weather?

  2. Scooter?  Someone named their son Scooter? And we worked in the
    White House?  I guess "Gale" doesn't seem like such a bad name
     after all.

  3. If Barry Bonds didn't juice up, I'm an unwed mother.

  4.  Do any of our friends on Mishmash who DON'T live in the USA 
     really give a damn about our weather, Scooter or Barry Bonds?
     
  5.  Those living here may not give a damn.

  But I always like getting email.  Even if it's from me.
