* I care about your weather . . .we just add two days and  five degrees, and 
it is our weather to come.
 
** Stand by then Hugh.  It was 75 here  today and wonderful.  I almost broke 
out my  thermals.
 
* Nobody names children after toys (scooter), lamps  (tiffany).....
 
or large gusts of wind (Gale).  
 
* Barry Bonds is steroids defined. I'm one of those who  thinks you can't 
compare today's game to "real baseball" . . . you know, the  game that had 154 
games, 16 teams, pitchers who didn't fall dead at 100 throws,  and players who 
worked at it for more than two years.
 
I'd like to meet the guy who came up with the 100 pitch  rule and punch his 
lights out.  I realize today's player are more  investments and not pieces of 
meat like they use to be.  You can't tell me  a guy making millions a year if 
he's only decent can't throw more than that  every 5 days.  I should have 
practised harder.  The manager would have  to come to the mound with an act of 
congress to get me out of the  game.
And Mr Bonds loses more points for being such a jerk as  much as his steriod 
use.
 
* Always remember, if baseball were like it was when Mantle,  Rizzuto, Mays, 
and other played, half the people we call "major leaguers" would  be playing 
in triple A (because there were fewer teams).
 
Ahhhhhhhhh memories.
