[Mishmash] Nothing in particular

I have  never heard of Scooter or Barry Bond so that went over my  head.
 
Scooter is Scooter Libby, former aide to the Vice President  who took one for 
the team and lied to a Grand Jury investigation.  His  prison sentence was 
just commuted by the president himself.  Another can of  worms opened.
 
Barry Bonds before his "alleged" steroid use (and I say  "alleged" while 
trying to keep a straight face) was probably the best  baseball player of this 
generation.  In his mid 30's he suddenly swelled up  into this massive creature 
and his power, which was already impressive,  became super human.  He is about 
to break the major league all time  home run record and even the higher ups of 
the sport are turning a cold shoulder  to him.  Plus, as I mentioned in my 
response post to Hugh, he's a world  class jerk.
