[Mishmash] New Position

    I thought I should tell all of you that I started at Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia on July 2.  Yes, I am teaching again.  Our department only teaches night classes.  

    I've been job hunting here in the Atlanta area for a good while.  I was working a temporary position for about a month and I took some Network Security classes for the first couple of months I was here in Marietta, GA.  

    If you look on the map, I live just off of I-75 a few miles north of the Perimeter (that's Atlanta's equivalent of the Beltway).  Morrow, GA is a few miles south of the Perimeter.  

    The drive is about thirty to forty miles each way.  But since I teach night classes only, I drive in in the afternoon and back late night missing the rush hour traffic.  

    I'm part time faculty for the month of July.  I become full time faculty on August 1.  

    I've got a lot to do to prepare for the fall session and a lot more to do to continue working on my CCNP.  

    I'll ask all of you to keep me in your prayers.  There are several things I must accomplish.  And after the way the industry has treated experienced people over the last seven or eight years, I find it hard to get motivated.
