Thanks Susan. Alfred lived on Ul Kanonicza until October last year when we
moved him into a nursing home. He is giving 90 a nudge and can no longer
look after himself. I am sure Anna would recognise Ul. Borsucza but I
don't. I have only been to Krakow once.
I absolutely love Krakow. I could live there. It is a very attractive city
and there are lots of things to keep an old bloke occupied. Last year I saw
a lot of the southern part of Poland. This year we plan to go further
afield and see the northern area and the coast. We will use Alfred's place
as a base so accommodation is essentially free. Best of all, it is very
cheap. Poland has yet to adopt the Euro and prices are still low by Western
standards. This wont last though as the Germans are showing interest.
I have some trouble believing it has been 8 years too. We get on so well
and very rarely disagree. Just for fun, I have included a photo of us taken
on the Paris Metro last year. I look a little different from the photo on
Mishmash now.
Cheers
David

was time to formalise things.
I can't believe it's been 8 years - on top of which, all this time I thought
the two
you were married!
Hope you have a great vacation in Europe and things go without a hitch.
Does Anna's
dad live in Krakow? I have a pen friend lives there - on/at Ul. Borsucza -
it looks
to be a very interesting city to visit.
Susan
