[Mishmash] Atlanta Rain

We finally got 1/2 inch here.  It came a few hours after I returned from a NWS update program at the Ridge Radio Club meeting. On my short drive home I thought it felt real muggy with very distant lightning flashes then I guessed that my imagination was playing tricks on me after seeing some storm and tornado training videos. Well, two hours later I heard a single BIG boom that sent the dogs trembling in the house and significant barometer reading drop which proved it wasn't my imagination.

It's been VERY dry here with almost no rain for nearly two months so we're very thankful with our dried up crops and land.
