One of the problems is political . . . my son (and grandson's father) is a
principal in another local school district.
I've suggested they submit a consulting contract for my grandson . . . if he
is going to help the teachers do their job, he might as well get paid
(actually, I'm not sure they should be doing that job anyway).
The whole thing brings back memories of the catholic high school all of my
kids attended, and a very telling statistic. Among the 3,000+ families in
the school, the primary parental occupation (by a large margin) was and
still is public high school teacher.
Seem those who know run someplace else!
