Hugh - I know exactly what you mean. When there's no news, "they" create some. A couple years ago my next door neighbor had friends visiting from away - her mother was very ill in hospital and rather than pay high fees at a motely, they brought their very respectable looking motor home and parked it in front of my neighbor's house. It was there in the evenings and when they wern't at the hospital - they certainly caused no trouble. Except another neighbor didn't like looking out her window and seeing the camper there - she got the police involved who said they wern't breaking any laws.
Then she got a local t.v. station involved and they milked this for all it was worth for days - there was an "on the street" interview with neighbors - except the only neighbor they interviewed was the one bitching. They did a survey on their web site as to whether campers should be allowed to park on residential streets - it went on and on. I've never watched news on that station since, having seen how they operate.
I do listen to Fox News on satellite radio - fascinating watching the most famous democracy in the world being morphed into a socialist.
