Yes, Fred - Canada's in the same boat.  I don't understand 90% of the people around me - I feel like we're living on different planets - what color is the sky in your world sort of thing.

And Mr. Lincoln couldn't have envisioned the world we live in today.

I am a great admirer of Bush - he stood up for what he believed in and what he felt was in the best interests of his country (and by association, for Canada as well).  No one doesn't make mistakes but he took his on the chin and left office with good grace - I believe we are safer today because of his actions in office and I thank him for that.

As for Iraq - that was a no win for him no matter what he did - he'd have been as vilified for not going in had "weapons of mass destruction" been used later by Iraq as he was for sending troops in and finding nothing.
