[Mishmash] San Francisco

I guess it must be the Presidio as it was directly under the bridge on the
opposite bank to Sausalito.  I have just discovered my negatives from my
first US trip and wanted to ID the pickie of the museum I visited.

The Presidio.  unles you mean Ft. Ord but that was further south in Montery.
Neither the presidio nor Ft. Ord are now military bases.  both have become
parks.
