[Mishmash] Two Movies In One Day

Folks, 

    I've done the unthinkable today.  What I had planned for this afternoon and this evening teetered out.  So I went to see [gasp!] two movies in one evening.  

    First, I sat through 'Blind Side' which was based on the true story of Michael Oher.  I found myself wanting to cheer all the way through it.  It's a story that many of us can relate to in one way or another.  After all, we're Americans and Australians here.  

    This is a must see for everyone.  

    Next, I sat through the 3D version of A Christmas Carol.  I don't need to elaborate on the story as I'm sure you are all familar with it.  The special 3D effects were incredible.  

    This also is a must see.  

    Check them out.  You won't be disappointed.  Just don't settle for the 2D version of A Christmas Carol.  You'll be shortchanging yourself.
