         Close?  This would be sending them more than five hundred miles
away.  And in a socialist economy they would likely never have enough money
to go anywhere else again.

This is actually fairly close to what then mayor Rudy Guliani  did in New
York some years ago . . . rounded up the homeless, drove them to the bus
terminal, and bought them a one way ticket to anywhere 500+ miles away.

|Good idea, Fred, but please don't send them to Canada - we're overrun with
socialists now and not getting any better!  I find it so sad, what is
happening in the U.S., and, strictly from peering in your windows via Fox
News, I don't see a viable Republican so far who has the capability of
defeating Obama.  I shudder to think what is going to happen if that man
gets another four years to tinker with your laws and constitution.  
 
Not long ago I came across a quote by Abraham Lincoln I'd kept in one of my
old notebooks but obviously Mr. Lincoln had not figured on someone like
Obama when he said this:
 
"While the people retain their virtue and vigilance, no administration, by
any extreme of wickedness or folly, can very seriously injure the government
in the short space of four years."
