[Rebels1972] Cap and Gown

Well folks, 

      For the first time, I'm going to wear a Cap and Gown at a collegiate graduation (tonight).  WCU ordered me a rental C&G in my alma mater colors for use tonight.  So I'm going to stop and have myself photographed in it before commencement begins.  

      I barely remember my graduation at that non-championship high school in SC that I graduated from (quite a let down after having been a fighting Rebel).  Fortunately, I've got a lady here in the department that is going to make sure I don't make any dumb mistakes when I put it on.  But all we are going to do is sit on the side and be their supporting professors.  We walk in together, sit down together, and sit through 450 names being called.  After that, we all go home for the weekend.  

      I'll email everyone a copy of it.  I just wish I had a picture of me in our fantastic Rebel band uniforms and had graduated from Sansom to be photographed in Purple and Gold.  

      But there will be lots of purple and gold there tonight as it happens to be WCU's colors as well.  

      Hope that everyone is doing well.  Wish we weren't all so quiet.  I'm always glad to hear from my Rebel friends.
