[Rebels1972] Reunion

Thank goodness it was changed to Convention Hall.... can you imagine the people and the noise at the Sr Activity Center?
The area being much smaller...

I like the idea of a summer reunion also. I think a lake theme would be great if we can get that. Don and I talked a couple of weeks ago and he thinks he may have his property sold. 

At our age, many want to bring kids and grandkids along to enjoy the fun and to show off.  

I want to get many ideas and opinions and see want is offered in Gadsden as far as venues.
June is a busy month with Riverfest, Father's Day and the Antique Car Shows at the Falls. Generally,  people take vacations in June also.  July and August are sooo hot but may have to be okay.  We want to have it after school graduations.

Our daughter is getting married this December so I'm going to be real busy with that starting now.  

I'm not good at multi-tasking any more.   So I need ideas friends and please don't be shy!!!!!

  No, I didn't see Veronica Hudson Hoyett either, nor Ricky Minor.  It sounds like we must have seen about the same people.  We tried to gather all the class of '72 that we could but it looks like we came up a little short.  We had Chuck Thompson for a Walnut Park neighbors shot but I noticed that we didn't get him and a few others in the '72 shot.  It was difficult to gather people in the crowded environment.

  I like the idea of a summertime reunion at the lake where we can bring our whole families.  I really like the idea of getting to meet as many children of our high school friends as possible.  The lake might entice the children to want to come along more; especially if we could offer water skiing and boating.  I would bring my ski boat and I'm sure that others have them also.

  Tony, I counted a total of 20 classmates. Did you see Veronica Hudson Hoyett? She came for a few minutes and said that she would return but we never saw her again.

  What about Maurice?  I never saw him or Rick. I didn't see Ricky Minor either.  The meet n' greet time was just too short for me.

  I wanted to see people and talk. The music started playing and it was so loud (but good) I couldn't talk.

  We need to get our heads together and think of the best time of year for our 35th class reunion---

  I have to talk to Don Martin about his lake property because he may have sold it.  So we probably have to come up with a location.

  Everyone is for a simple, informal gathering which sounds great to me.

    Just out of curiosity, I pulled out your excel spreadsheet to see how many people listed on that sheet I had seen at the reunion.  I counted 19.  See how many you come up with.
