[Rebels1972] You've received a YouTube Video!

Susan,

    No, I didn't bid on it.

    Do you remember that book on Emma Sansom that was on Ebay?  I bid on and 
won that item quite some time back.

    I was toying with the idea of making a video of me reading it.

    Did you know that Emma Sansom's hero was Joan of Arc?  She got a book 
about her from a store in Gadsden during the Civil War.

    She was always saying that someday she was going to do something great 
(and she did).

    This book claims that when she was directing the confederate troops over 
Black Creek that a bullet went through her dress without actually hitting 
her.  I've never heard that from any other source.  I wonder if that was 
really true?

    The next time I go to Columbia, I'm going to stop at Social Circle and 
photograph that marker that they have there honoring her.  Maybe I can get 
someone to photograph me standing by the marker.

    She's buried in Texas.  If I ever make it that way, I'm going to visit 
her grave and see if I can get a picture of me standing beside it.

    It's incredible how a teenager could have such a dramatic impact on so 
many lives.
