    I never knew that General Forrest's building was original Emma Sansom High School.  What a surprise.  I always thought that the building we went to school in (which I discovered had been replaced when I came to all the reunion stuff) was the original building.  

    You learn something new every day.

  She may ultimately be correct Fred.  The original Emma Sansom High building was what we called General Forrest.  The Emma Sansom that I remember with fondness does not exist anymore except for the gym and bandroom.  There is a move, I think to try to save the General Forrest building for a museum, however, I don't know if it will be successful.

  Folks, 

      Tonight I met a Mrs. Fay Martin.  She claims to be a blood relative of Emma Sansom.  She is from Social Circle, Georgia (originally).  
     
      I was speaking with a woman from Rome, Georgia (originally).  She didn't know who Emma Sansom was.  So I told her the story.  

      This woman stopped and asked who I was to be talking about her relative.  She told me that her maiden name was Sansom.  

      She had been told that they were tearing down ESH.  I told her that that wasn't quite correct and told her about ESMS.  

      It's a small world, isn't it?
