Hello Class of '72,
I hope that everyone is enjoying this hot summer.  Since the plans for a summer 35th class reunion fell thru, I had big plans for a Fall reunion in conjunction with this Alumni celebration.  You can read the email that I received from Clint Ellison ('73) concerning it.
The dates were doubtful to begin with due to Bama football scheduling and now cancelled due to NASCAR---only in Alabama!!

I didn't make the meeting today due to a conflict.  Planning a Fall reunion now would be quite a feat!!
So what about getting together next year?    I would appreciate any and all of your thoughts on this matter.
My computer has been on the blink and I hope nothing important has come across.

Greetings All...I just got a call from James Saxon of the Gadsden High Alumni group letting me know the combined alumni community celebration has been postponed for this year due a conflict with the NASCAR race in October and the lack of available hotel/motel rooms.  There will be a meeting of the combined alumni groups this Thursday, 7/19, at 5:00 PM CDT at Cultural Arts Center to discuss the plans for moving forward with the celebration next year.  James did state that there has been $30,000 in seed money pledged already and that he will be contacting those donors to ask for their continued financial support for next year.  I encourage each of you to attend that possibly can so we have a good showing of ESHS alumni.  I plan to be there, so maybe those that can attend will be able to go out afterwards for food and fun.  If you can't make it, I'll send out a note with the information from the meeting.  Until then...........GO REBELS!!
