I fall into the category of what Winston Churchill once described as "a
former naval person". As such, I am proud of all the sailors involved
in the rescue. OO-RAH to the SEALS. Fly Navy!

The Navy rescued the Captain killing three of the four
pirates. The fourth was wonded as is now in custody. The FBI is
looking into extraditing him to the U.S. to face charges of piracy and
kidnapping.

The Captain is now on the Navy ship. He is resting
comfortably but is in good overall spirits and in good condition. He
has not spoken to the media as yet.

Maersk (the owners of the ship) has made a statement that
was very powerful and gallant. They said that the details of the rescue
would be issued by the Navy.

That Captain has shown the world what being an American is
all about, character, courage, and conviction. And those Navy seals
that rescued him did a pretty fair job of displaying the same thing.

This reminds me of some of the reasons I am proud to be an
American.

	    God Bless the U.S.A.,

	                                                            Fred
