    I remember that blackberries that grew in the fields past the end of where Brow drive used to end.  We had blackberry pie a number of times while we were there.  

    I'm disappointed about Friday night as I was looking forward to having dinner with everyone.  Dale, are you going to be there?  Remember, you are the one who enticed me into coming.  

    We'll see what happens.

  Wow...lovely weather and we have been having "blackberry winter."  The blackberries are blooming and this is a southern term for a cool snap that usually comes along about this time.  We've had our heat on-imagine that!
  Alabama weather is the craziest.

  Looks like dinner on Friday may be a lost cause.   Top of the River will not hold a room for me due to Friday and Saturday nights being their busiest.
  The Courtyard Cafe is having a private party and 3/4's of the place is already booked.
  Gadsden has no other decent, large place for folks to get together. Isn't this sad?

  I have no idea who is attending anyway because Carol hasn't sent me the attendee list yet.  I have asked for it several times.   I would love to know whose coming from our class.

  I'm bummed out about this and the apathy others have shown concerning the reunion.  
  Convention Hall is maxed out close to 800 people.  This is much more than the band reunion.  So, somebody's coming!
