Folks,

     This morning, the Fox News Web site is asking people to post where
they were when they heard the news on 9/11/01.

     I always guessed that I was within thirty air miles of the Pentagon
[since I was sitting at my desk in Tyson's Corner, Virginia].

     I wanted to be sure I was accurate when I posted.  So today I went to
Mapquest and checked the distance.

     I was actually about fifteen miles from the Pentagon that day.

     God bless America and may we never forget those who died.
