Leslie is the youngest daughter of my best friend from my Navy days. Jerry just got out of the hospital the first part of last week when he had a heart attack.
In addition to Leslie, please lift up the Mom, (Loretta).

Subject: Need prayers for Leslie

Dear Family and Friends,

As you may or may not know, Leslie, our youngest, after a grueling process, fulfilled a life long dream of being accepted into the  Fairfax County Police Academy to become a police officer.  Her actual training at the academy began this week.  As she was going over one of the walls in the obstacle course, she broke her foot. I am giving you the short version...this obstacle course is something else and the requirements and the physical requirements of the academy are very stringent.

Please pray that when the cat scan is done either Monday or Tuesday, there will be no torn ligaments or tendons, no small breaks and no  surgery required for a speedier recovery. Needless to say, she is very upset and pray for her peace as well. Thank you so much for lifting Leslie up in the name of Jesus. We will keep you posted.
