[Singles] The Book of Eli

Folks, 

    I sat through a movie tonight that I thought you might be interested in.  

    'The Book of Eli' was a story about a man who had been wandering around the U.S. for thirty years carrying a Bible and reading it every day.  

    The setting was in a time after a nuclear war.  Bibles had been burned and destroyed after the war because many people had [unfairly] blamed the Bible for what had happened.  

    The Bible was taken from him by force before he got to his destination.  But he had read it so many times that he had memorized it.  And there was a very special reason that the evil man who had taken from it was unable to use it.  

    I won't spoil the outcome for you.  There was some language and violence issues in the movie.  But overall, I thought the story was tremendous.  

    I'll see all of you in Sunday School tomorrow.
