question on everyone's mind: Whose interests will
they advance - President Obama's or Israel's?
This is a critical time for Israel and her foreign
relations. This is also OUR opportunity to help
positively impact Israel's future! We must not
allow the Obama administration to destroy the
relationship between our nation and Israel.

and reject this administration's misguided Middle East
foreign policy.

Dear Friend,
Over the next few weeks, eighty-one Members of Congress
will head to Israel for meetings with Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres in Jerusalem,
and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah.
House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer leads the Democrats that
arrived there Monday. Two other trips composed of Republican
lawmakers will take place later during the congressional
recess.
++Israel needs our prayers and friendship as never before!
The timing of these events is crucial! In September, The
United Nations is expected to vote on establishing a
Palestinian state and possibly call for Israel to return
to her indefensible 1967 borders.
As I've reported to you several times before, President
Obama's administration is fueling worldwide anti-Israel
sentiment while diminishing our relationship with this
time-proven ally.
In June, President Obama actually called for the "starting
point" of Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations to be
Israel's return to 1967 borders...including a divided
Jerusalem.
It also called for the return of the Western Wall,
a holy Jewish site, to the Palestinians, among many
other "indefensible" and unimaginable concessions.
After Barack Obama's betrayal of Israeli interests, Prime
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu set the record straight in a
personal meeting and then in a masterful presentation before
a joint session of the United States Congress.
++A not-so-veiled response from the Obama administration.
A few days after the Prime Minister eloquently reasserted
Israel's right to exist as a nation, President Obama warned
a group of Jewish Democratic voters at a fundraiser that
"tactical disagreements" loom between the United States and
Israel.
Those "tactical disagreements" have now come to include an
outrageous action by the Department of Homeland Security
(DHS), which listed Israel among a small number of
countries it believes...
"have shown a tendency to promote, produce, or protect
terrorist organizations or their members."
The Obama administration has gone so far as to label
Israel a producer of terrorist organizations!
Then, the United States decided to formally resume contact
with Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, a group that does not even
recognize Israel's right to exist.
++We must pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
I am asking you to join me in praying for these congressional
delegations and their hosts in Israel over the next few weeks
and months. I am praying that there will be no undue pressure,
arm twisting, or underlying threats made that advance Obama's
strange Middle East agenda, which certainly undermines
US-Israeli relations.
King David affirmed the important principle of
prayerfully supporting Israel in Psalm 122:6 when
he said, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they
prosper who love you..."
Sadly, the Obama Administration's cynical policy toward Israel
has been exposed over the past several months. This
administration's policies do NOT reflect the views of
grassroots Americans who staunchly support the US-Israel
alliance.
++ Advancing the relationship between America and Israel is
why we inaugurated the Stand with Israel effort!
As, I've written before, it was an honor for Anita and me
to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and
his staff for well over an hour in June of this year and
to spend additional time in a private meeting with the
Prime Minister.
What a joy it was to share about the ongoing support
of the American people for Israel. Liberty Counsel's
powerful "Stand with Israel" campaign now has over

We are working with Joel and Pamela Bell who have established
the Israel Goodwill Ambassador Academy in Jerusalem in
cooperation with the Prime Minister's office and Ono
