The Scouts' executive board members are scheduled to vote on whether or not to lift the century-old organization's ban on homosexuals. Grassfire is set to hand-deliver more than 112,000 petitions from our team members in support of the current ban to BSA headquarters in Irving, Texas, prior to this historic vote.

But our goal is to reach 120,000 petitions before the Scouts annual meeting in less than 48 hours! So Grassfire needs to hear from as many team members as possible by 2:00 p.m. ET today. That's the deadline for reaching that important signature plateau.

But for the past several years, Scouting has come under attack for its policy banning homosexuals -- even though the Supreme Court ruled in 2000 that, as a private organization, the Boy Scouts have a right to exclude gay members and leaders from their ranks.
