By a vote of 230-189, the House of Representatives voted this morning (Friday, Sept. 20) to keep the federal government afloat through mid-December -- provided the financial plug is pulled on ObamaCare.

This is indeed a victory for "We the People." You won by loudly and aggressively telling lawmakers that you didn't want your tax dollars funding the so-called "Affordable" Care Act.

But now what?

According to FOX News, the Senate is in recess and not expected to vote on the continuing resolution until next week.

With a House and Senate showdown now looming, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) hasn't tipped his hand on what he might do. Republicans, on the other hand, are already discussing a filibuster in the Senate.

On the heels of a successful petition delivery yesterday, Grassfire is now finalizing plans to hand-deliver 150,000 "Defund and Delay ObamaCare" petitions (or more) to Senate leaders when they return next week!
