You need to hear what Col. Oliver North had to say about the U.S. Marine who is still being held in a Mexican prison ...

Appearing on Fox News' "On The Record" with Greta Van Susteren, North said, "Barack Obama and the O Team at the White House don't give a damn.The fact is, if they really cared all they would have to do is pick up the phone and call the President Pena and say we need this expedited because it's hurting the relationship between Mexico and the United States."

Imprisoned since April 1, the "wrong way" Marine, Andrew Tahmooressi has been imprisoned since April 1, and is facing up to 21 years if convicted on gun charges in Mexico.

+ + 50,000 Petitions Needed For Our Marine!

Tahmooressi has a hearing scheduled on July 9 in Tijuana, there he will tell the judge that he missed a turnoff on Interstate 5 that began his nightmare.

Leading to the hearing, Grassfire is eager to deliver 50,000 "Free Our Marine" petitions to both the State Department and key members of Congress -- notably Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA), who has been aggressively working to free Sgt. Tahmooressi, petitioning fellow lawmakers as well as Mexican and U.S. authorities.

But as of this morning, I've discovered that we are less than 11,000 shy of reaching our petition delivery goal.
