National security experts have issued a sober warning in the book, Shariah: The Threat To America, “It is clear that conformance to Shariah in America constitutes as great a threat as any enemy the nation has ever confronted."

John Quincy Adams, our sixth president, in a series of essays on Islam, stated:

“The precept of the Quran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that (Mohammed) is the prophet of God ... As the essential principle of (Mohammed's) faith is the subjugation of others by the sword; it is only by force, that his false doctrines can be dispelled, and his power annihilated. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force."

According to a shocking 2011 study conducted by the Center for Security Policy, Sharia has entered into state court decisions— by the “fraud" predicted by Adams—in more than 50 significant cases involving Muslims.

While many judges have stated that they “will always reject any foreign law, including Sharia law, when it conflicts with the Constitution or state public policy," according to the study, 15 recent trial court and 12 appellate court cases were identified where Sharia law was used.

+ + The creeping acceptance of Sharia in American courts is the most serious threat to our legal system today.

Our judicial system has been under great duress even before the threat of Islamic incursion. Suffering the pressures of political correctness and judicial activism over the years, American courts have steadily lost the respect of our nation's citizens and no longer enjoy the high esteem in which they were once held.

Sadly, dozens of court cases in the United States have already relied on Sharia's precepts instead of American law to decide cases involving Muslims, with most of the rulings at serious variance with the United States Constitution.

One of these cases was the 2009 case of a Muslim woman who had been tortured and raped over a prolonged period of time by her Moroccan husband. Her request for a restraining order against her husband was denied by New Jersey family court Judge Joseph Charles, who ruled on the grounds that the abusive husband had acted according to his Muslim (Sharia) beliefs, and therefore not with criminal intent.

Ultimately, this disturbing case was appealed and overturned, but what a shameful thing it is to think that this abused and tortured woman had to go through two court cases to receive help from a legal system that should have immediately ruled in favor of constitutional law, not Sharia law.

+ + The overthrow of the American government, the rule of law, and our culture by Islamic radicals must be stopped!

The truth is, the greatest threat our nation now faces from radical Islam is not in the form of another 9/11-style attack, but through the slow, steady, implementation of Sharia in American courts.

The rise of Sharia in any society or legal system is more than a movement. At its core, it calls for the total overthrow of any society that is not solely based on the Quran and Sunnah (Muhammad's example).

By definition, Sharia is the primary vehicle for the overthrow of any civilization through the imposition of Islamic law and culture.

+ + The Constitution must remain our nation's “supreme law."

Since the founding of our great nation, our laws have been based upon the “laws of nature and of nature's God"—a system endorsed by its people, not thrust upon them at the end of a sword.

Islamic Sharia cannot be incorporated into American law without violating the Constitution's Article VI Supremacy Clause, which requires that the Constitution “shall be the supreme Law of the land."

Yet, as a constitutional attorney, I can tell you from reviewing several scholarly investigations that the phenomenon of Islamic incursion in our legal system is accelerating at an alarming rate.

+ + We will not bow to “politically correct" demands!

We will not bow to Sharia or stand idly by and watch radical Islam distort our nation's laws. Our Constitution and the Judeo-Christian principles of law it expresses make up the very foundation upon which Western Civilization stands!

But liberal “political correctness," a pro-Islam White House, and an anti-Christian mainstream media have censored any information about the radical and dangerous activities of Islamic groups in America.
