Patrick Ortiz has requested that this be sent to the Safety Committee

This is extremely terrifying to me as I have been asking everyone I know if they were aware of these dangers and everyone said NO they were not, and I am wondering how we ended up with these things in our house without knowing the dangers.  All my bulbs at these type of bulbs now.  This scares me to death, sharing the fear with you.  We need to spread the word so people don’t end up like this poor guy.

I assume this is accurate information, as I did a little research on the internet and found numerous stories of problems and dangers.
